1st birthday party

So this is really late, but I wanted to showcase some of the details from a 1st birthday party in January that surpassed my imagination.  And my imagination is pretty cray. Yes, I am trying to use “cray” in everyday vernacular because crazy is just too long.

They may look a little eerie with their beady eyeballs but they were so so good.  They’re hand dipped chocolate pretzels fashioned to look like lady bugs.   Each black dot has been individually painted on. Imagine the carpal tunnel after that! They were almost too beautiful to eat but I made sure to apologize to each one before popping them in my mouth. 

Sweet Aubrey was the honored birthday girl.  I love her little white piano.  But, pianist is one of those words you might want to avoid saying at a one year old birthday party.  Sounds too much like another word. 

If you haven’t already guessed, Aubrey had a lady bug themed birthday party complete with a lady bug candy shop and photo booth.  Aubrey’s talented mom, Dawn, was all about “Doing It Yourself”.  My kind of people. Down to the itty bitty details. That ish cray! How are you not in the event planning business!?!? Don’t worry, she will be persuaded!
